Job Summary

This entry-level management position is responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements in the front office area. The ideal candidate will strive to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while achieving the operating budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of the front desk team by utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
  • Support daily front desk shift operations and handle guest complaints and concerns.
  • Participate in department meetings and continually communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the front desk goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related professional area.
  • Or, 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major; no work experience required.
