Assistant Front Desk Manager

Job Summary
As a Front Desk Manager Assistant at Marriott, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements in the front office areas, including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. You will strive to ensure guest and employee satisfaction and achieve the operating budget. Your role will involve assisting in completing financial and administrative responsibilities, as well as supporting the management of the front desk team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the management of the front desk team, utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
Assist in completing financial and administrative responsibilities, including handling employee questions and concerns, and supporting all areas of the front office in the absence of the Front Office or Front Desk Manager.
Support daily front desk shift operations, including handling guest problems and complaints, and seeking assistance from a supervisor as necessary.
Participate in department meetings and continually communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the front desk goals to produce desired results.
Strive to improve service performance, observing staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area, or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Competitive hourly pay range of $23.56 to $26.44.
