Veterinary Clinic Operations Manager

Job Overview
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our community veterinary clinic. This position entails working closely with a team of skilled veterinarians and managing clinic operations to ensure exceptional care for our animal patients. The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating schedules, optimizing resources, and improving client experiences.

Essential Qualifications
- Significant experience in a healthcare environment with multiple practitioners
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with veterinary practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Adept at analyzing financial information and creating budgets
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in veterinary practice management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Previous supervisory experience
- Interest in pursuing CVPM certification
- Experience in an academic or primary care veterinary environment
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience and falls within Pay Band 4.
