About the Position

The Service Coordinator will play a key role in leading our service team and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as a solid understanding of financial objectives and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include supervising service department staff, aligning company policies, coordinating service work, and ensuring customer issues are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop service department staff to meet high performance and morale standards.
  • Implement company policies, standard operating procedures, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate service work scheduling and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Advise customers on necessary repair services and preventative maintenance.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and according to company guidelines.
  • Adhere to company work-in-process policy.
  • Evaluate and recondition trade-in equipment.
  • Process warranty claims according to policy.
  • Complete PIP and campaigns according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain service tools and vehicles in good condition.
  • Ensure safe facility, equipment, and operations.
  • Verify service vehicles and drivers are properly maintained and compliant with regulations.
  • Inspect completed work and ensure accuracy.
  • Account for time records, including overtime, on-call scheduling, and vacation approval.
  • Keep the shop area clean.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Service/mechanical experience with farm or heavy equipment and/or diesel engines.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to use desktop or laptop computer, including Microsoft Office Suites.
