Position: Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

In this role, you will collaborate with a leading trial attorney and their team, overseeing cases, engaging in litigation, conducting depositions, mediating disputes, and representing clients in trials.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a caseload and achieving favorable outcomes in high-value cases.
  • Strong legal research and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-centered approach with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a caseload of 30-40 cases, acting as the lead attorney throughout all litigation phases from initiation to trial.
  • Formulating case strategies and legal theories.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Conducting and defending depositions involving plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and other parties.
  • Participating in settlement negotiations.
  • Serving as second chair during trials.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients to provide updates on case developments.
  • Supervising and guiding paralegals and other support personnel.
