Senior Account Executive

Albireo Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to drive profitable and aggressive sales growth in the OC/Los Angeles area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with end users, design/build contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, large owner accounts, and ESCOs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Assist consulting engineers with the design and specifications of control system applications to ensure seamless integration with our products.
  • Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for control system applications to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
  • Partner with our Operations Department to ensure timely project completion, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare technical scope of work proposals and presentations to communicate our value proposition to consulting engineers.
  • Set meetings with customers to identify opportunities and sell Albireo Energy's capabilities.
  • Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide sales support to ongoing new installations to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Attend sales meetings and training seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Team sell with other sales executives to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities in our CRM system to ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Requirements:
  • Proven success in either the plan & spec or owner direct sales with a strong track record of revenue growth.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales in the building automation field with a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings to ensure accurate sales and project execution.
  • Understanding of building HVAC systems and the application of controls to ensure seamless integration with our products.
  • Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage sales activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree with industry experience to ensure a strong foundation in technical sales and account management.
  • Data center and EPMS experience a plus to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Salary Range: $125k-$145k base DOE.
