Job SummaryThe Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing our clients portfolio within the womens apparel sector. This role requires a consultative sales approach, where the executive will partner with off-price retailers to create tailored solutions, oversee the order process, and ensure the seamless execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry experience to nurture existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and align with the brands values to promote the companys vision.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients in the off-price retail sector. Serve as the main point of contact, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions that meet clients needs. Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and check-ins to stay aligned with client objectives.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the client base, focusing on potential partnerships within the off-price retail market. Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to connect with potential clients and introduce the brand.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Implement sales strategies in alignment with the companys goals, ensuring the achievement of individual and team sales targets. Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales techniques and capitalize on market trends. Monitor the sales process from initial contact to final delivery, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Product Knowledge & Brand Representation: Gain a deep understanding of the brands product lines, design elements, and craftsmanship to effectively communicate their unique selling points. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, always reflecting the companys values and aesthetics.
- Order Management & Coordination: Oversee the entire order process, from initial placement to delivery, ensuring all client requirements are met. Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, and customer service) to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales or account management within the womens apparel industry, with a focus on off-price retail.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the womens fashion industry, with an ability to identify and adapt to emerging trends.
- Location: This is an office-based position in Pasadena, CA. Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
