Job Description:

Executive Director, Institutional Business Development

Sun Life Financial is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Institutional Business Development efforts in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive growth and revenue in the institutional asset management market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target institutional investors and consultants in the United States.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at institutional investors and consultants to promote Sun Life Financial's asset management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, portfolio management, and marketing, to develop and execute sales initiatives.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Manage and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in institutional business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the institutional asset management market.
  • Strong knowledge of the institutional asset management market, including investment products, services, and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at institutional investors and consultants.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform sales strategies.
