**Job Summary**

Sun Life is seeking an experienced investment professional to join our Private Fixed Income team as an Associate Director. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of credits and working with senior team members on underwriting new investment opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of investment grade credits
  • Assist senior team members with underwriting new investment opportunities, including origination, due diligence, credit analysis, and pricing
  • Provide ad hoc support to clients and senior team members as needed

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in investment analysis and/or credit research roles
  • CFA or demonstrated progress towards a CFA

**Preferred Skills**

  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements and legal documents
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity
