Job Overview

This role involves leading collaborative efforts across departments to develop marketing materials and strategies for designated product categories, ultimately driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate product portfolio strategies and drive financial performance for assigned categories.
  • Develop product strategies that promote revenue growth, gross profit, and enhance sales representative earnings.
  • Support the Manager of Category Management and the Director of Product Management in achieving aggressive and profitable growth for the Company.
  • Generate insights from data that are customer-centric and advance merchandising strategies for your assigned categories.
  • Evaluate product assortment and analytics to prioritize product categories based on market trends, customer demands, portfolio gaps, strategic objectives, and execution feasibility.
  • Oversee the new product development process, collaborating with Product Line from concept through to launch.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned categories.
  • Manage and execute the content schedule for the visual production team.
  • Create materials for the company catalog, eCommerce, email marketing, product development, and social media platforms.
  • Implement best practices for product lifecycle management.
  • Conduct new product development processes, including product testing and evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 to 5 years of marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and distill key information; strategic thinking with systematic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in making data-driven decisions, understanding financial statements, and articulating the significance of data.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and utilizing data for informed decision-making.
  • Adept at identifying patterns in data to create actionable insights and connect relevant data across the business.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across various teams, and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ownership and initiative.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to energize and mobilize team members.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of developing and executing innovative ideas, even in the face of challenges.
