Position Overview:
The Lead Investment Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role in advancing the growth and outreach of our investment management division. Reporting directly to the Head of Investment Products, this position is responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of various asset management initiatives. This role necessitates collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to bolster sales and marketing efforts across a spectrum of products. A solid understanding of diverse investment product structures, including mutual funds, collective investment trusts, and separate accounts, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and fulfill requests from internal and external clients regarding competitor analysis, comparative assessments, and hypothetical allocations. Analyze generated reports and prepare insightful talking points regarding fund positioning and competitive landscape.
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from distribution teams and other departments related to product performance, characteristics, and content creation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other resources to design and develop customized prospecting materials and sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present complex investment concepts to both internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain data integrity in industry databases such as Evestment.
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for institutional separately managed accounts.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute comprehensive reporting packages on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough research on competing funds to highlight the unique features and advantages of our offerings.
  • Support new product development and rationalization initiatives through industry research and competitive analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product support, ideally within the asset management sector.
  • Strong comprehension of financial product structures, including mutual funds, CITs, and separate accounts.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying ideas to all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with asset management databases such as Evestment, Refinitiv Lipper, Dakota Marketplace, and Morningstar Direct.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
