Job Summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers and ensure the reliability and safety of production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the maintenance activities of a team of maintenance workers to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and oversee the maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and instruments to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Assist in the root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Oversee the activities of the maintenance department, including reviewing and approving preventative maintenance documents and scheduling and managing preventative maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing maintenance team that can effectively maintain production equipment and facilities.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met and to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Hire, train, and develop maintenance team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Oversee safety team activities and ensure that safety protocols are followed and enforced.
  • Develop and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing people and projects.
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
  • Preferred: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 6 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Preferred: 6 years of experience managing people and projects.
