Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the maintenance team’s activities, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and effectively.
  • Establish and execute preventative maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems within the facility.

  • Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and spare components.
  • Collaborate with production teams to guarantee that maintenance operations do not interfere with production schedules.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a food processing or manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.

Working Environment:

  • This position is primarily located in a food processing facility and may involve working in cold, wet, or noisy conditions.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
