Compensation:
Range: $17 to $18 per hour (bonus eligible)
Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Associate is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the residential property. This role entails ensuring that all assigned areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the property to uphold a welcoming appearance while delivering excellent service to residents.
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, trash removal, and general upkeep of grounds, parking lots, and recreational areas.
- Conduct interior cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal in various facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations as they arise.
- Prepare residential units for incoming tenants according to company standards.
- Inspect common areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and report maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist with physical tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform various physical tasks regularly. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
The work environment may include exposure to various weather conditions and noise levels. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
