Job Title: Account Executive III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive III to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories. As a key member of our Global Commercial Operations Sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the Academic, Government, and non-profit sectors in the SF South Bay area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Promote and sell Bio-Rad's portfolio of genomics and proteomics instrumentation and consumables to customers in the territory.
  • Build and manage a sales opportunity funnel to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Partner with regional teammates to ensure achievement of territory sales goals.
  • Communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities, and forecast.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling genomics and proteomics capital equipment and consumables portfolios.
  • Lab experience in genomics/proteomics preferred (ddPCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, Chromatography, etc.).
  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to articulate financial justification both internally and externally.
  • Excellent closing skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer use and software programs, e.g., Microsoft Office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $114,700 to $157,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
