About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive III to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the East Bay Area of California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Promote and sell Bio-Rad's equipment portfolio and consumable workflows to academic, government, and non-profit institutions
  • Build, manage, and grow sales opportunity funnels to drive revenue growth
  • Identify, nurture, and grow sales opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building
  • Manage and meet customer deadlines to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure achievement of territory sales goals and objectives
  • Proactively update CRM systems on a daily basis to track sales activity and progress
  • Communicate effectively with regional managers to share market trends, opportunities, and forecasts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling Genomics and Proteomics capital equipment and consumable portfolios
  • Lab experience in Genomics/Proteomics preferred (ddPCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, Chromatography, etc.)
  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to articulate financial justification both internally and externally
  • Excellent closing skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer use and software programs, e.g., Microsoft Office
