Job Description

Job Title: Car Sales General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Car Sales General Manager to oversee all store operations management, including sales, finance, inventory, pricing, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and management, with a proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all store operations, including sales, finance, inventory, pricing, and compliance
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Manage and lead the Car Sales Team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high customer service scores
  • Ensure ICC (Internal Audit Checklist) compliance and maintain proper staffing levels
  • Support Digital Retailing initiatives, including R2B, and manage employee, consumer, and vendor issues as needed
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, all channels, and drive strong CRM metric accountability
  • Assist in sales team training and provide continuous coaching

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in Car Sales Management
  • Experience in auto dealership and car sales, auto financing, and car sales regulations
  • Experience with auto lenders, previous supervision, or managerial experience with P&L responsibility
  • Manage and lead the Car Sales Team, knowledge of F&I processes, business acumen, and industry pricing tools
  • Effective management and leadership skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong communication and presentation skills
