Reports To: Space Manager

Position Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to support the sales division in daily operations, which includes managing and rotating the Donaghy Sales portfolio across various retail locations. This involves showcasing products effectively, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise inventory records, monitor product code dates, and address stock shortages for designated accounts.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Exhibit regular attendance to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks for safe product handling.
  • Restock shelves and manage product down-stacking.
  • Conduct rotation checks and code date assessments during retail visits.
  • Construct displays and manage Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives regarding account management, focusing on volume growth, distribution, and merchandising.
  • Identify and pursue merchandising opportunities during each visit.
  • Deliver products to retail locations as required.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Comply with all legal standards and company agreements.
  • Provide merchandising and delivery support to various departments as needed.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, often exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, with the ability to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance.
  • Engage in frequent physical activities such as bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Support planogram compliance.
  • Work independently as needed.
  • Report any trade-related issues to the Space Manager.

  • Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are maintained according to standards.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in merchandising is preferred.

Working Environment:

This role involves moderate physical exertion and exposure to various weather conditions, as well as noise and fumes from vehicles. The position requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods, along with frequent bending, lifting, and operating equipment.

Compensation: Pay Rate - $18.00 per hour
