About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our RNA Discovery team as an In Vivo Pharmacology/Bioanalytics Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of biomolecular analytics for RNA medicines using nanoparticle-based delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, executing, and analyzing in vivo study protocols to assess the efficacy of RNA therapeutics.
  • Oversee the maintenance of rodent breeding colonies and conduct dosing, blood collection, and necropsy for rodent studies.
  • Process study tissue and execute molecular techniques for assessing nucleic acids/proteins, including PCR, ELISA, Western Blots, and Flow cytometry.
  • Maintain accurate records of studies in an electronic notebook and manage key equipment and maintenance contracts.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across the team and company, promoting a positive and dynamic work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science or related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with murine animals, including animal handling, dosing, blood, and tissue collection.
  • Experience in biomolecular analytics, including ELISA, PCR, and Flow Cytometry.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and in vitro dosing.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with maintaining rodent breeding colonies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
  • Strong collaborative instinct, with good time and resource management skills to match the fast-paced start-up work culture.
  • Able to collaborate on and execute multiple parallel studies.
