Job Overview:

Compensation: $48.50 - $52.50 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare in vivo/in vitro samples, solutions, and reagents utilized in laboratory operations.
  • Perform analyses on polymer and biomaterial samples for product release or research and development purposes.
  • Assist in the design and execution of suitable experiments, as well as the evaluation of data generated both internally and at external laboratories.
  • Aid the R&D manager in carrying out standard analytical tests, both internal and external, and in generating analytical reports.
  • Communicate research outcomes to scientists, engineers, and other team members.
  • Provide guidance and training to interns and junior research staff.
Experience Required:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Educational Background:
  • A minimum of a B.Sc. degree in a scientific discipline is required (M.Sc. preferred).
Skills and Expertise:
  • Proficiency in the analysis, production, isolation, and purification of polymer materials, including fundamental wet chemistry skills such as extraction, filtration, and precipitation, as well as analytical skills for characterizing and qualifying polymer materials, such as LC, GC, GPC, and mechanical testing.
  • Experience in organic chemistry and polymer science is advantageous.
  • Ability to conduct assigned tasks under the guidance of senior scientific personnel; execute tasks by applying established procedures, methods, and scientific techniques; manage multiple activities concurrently.
  • Strong communication and data management skills are essential for documenting and conveying research findings and maintaining records.
