Position Overview

The Bioanalytical Chemistry team at Integrated Resources is seeking a skilled scientist with expertise in LC-MS based pharmacokinetics and biomarker assay development. This role is crucial for enhancing our bioanalytical strategies and optimizing our innovative platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine advanced LC-MS analytical methodologies for bioanalysis across various molecular formats, including small molecules and proteins.
  • Implement cutting-edge high-resolution mass spectrometry techniques for metabolite profiling and identification.
  • Conduct biomarker analysis using LC-MS techniques as needed.
  • Analyze complex LC-MS data sets and effectively communicate findings to project teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of experimental procedures and results in electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Contribute to team knowledge through ongoing literature review and collaborative discussions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, including HPLC and LC-MS systems.

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • PhD or Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields, with relevant industry or academic experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a PhD or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Proven laboratory skills in biological sample extraction and quantitative/qualitative mass spectrometry.
  • Experience in bioanalysis of various molecular formats, including small molecules and proteins.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LC-MS-based ADME and bioanalytical assays.
  • Familiarity with mass spectrometry data acquisition software such as Analyst and Xcalibur.
  • Knowledge of bioanalytical method validation guidelines.
