Aortic stenosis affects millions worldwide, often going undiagnosed and inadequately treated. Edwards has revolutionized the field with our transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR), offering a groundbreaking, minimally invasive solution for patients needing heart valve replacement.

Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) division collaborates closely with cardiologists and clinical teams to elevate patient care through devices backed by clinical evidence. We are driven by the mission to help patients live longer, healthier lives. Become a part of our inspiring journey.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and expand the THV market within your designated region.
  • Collaborate with Field Clinical Specialists and the Regional Director to provide comprehensive support on device utilization, enabling healthcare providers to achieve expert proficiency and deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of our products and therapies, understanding their applications thoroughly.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships to grow and safeguard THV business.
  • Drive the adoption of THV products in your territory.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective clients.
  • Coordinate activities from site selection to operational independence, working closely with the Education team in alignment with the Sales & Education strategy.
  • Present patient selection criteria to both Cardiologists and Surgeons.
  • Accountable for meeting sales objectives.
  • Monitor sales activities, prepare forecasts by account, product, and therapy for your territory, and propose budgets for meetings and customer engagements.
  • Ensure customer records are maintained accurately.
  • Implement the Edwards marketing and product launch strategy.
  • Manage inventory effectively, including ordering, shipping, and handling returns.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience in medical device sales.
  • Prior experience in a sales or clinical support role, particularly in launching new technologies.
  • Proven track record in closing technical medical sales is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred:

  • Expertise in catheter-delivered technology and comfort with hands-on clinician training.
  • Established network within the interventional cardiology market.
  • Advanced clinical skills in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology.
  • Sales competencies including self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan, organize, and execute independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt between technical and sales responsibilities.
