Position Summary

As a Regional Director of Operations, you will oversee and motivate a team of District Managers and other leaders within your designated area. You will play a crucial role in the regional leadership team, providing strategic direction and guidance to the accounts in your region while fostering strong client relationships. Your primary objective will be to meet operational and financial targets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of District Managers and Dining Services Directors to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive the team to cultivate strong client relationships and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as profitability and safety.
  • Participate in the regional leadership team, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of diversity and community.
  • Manage all accounts within your territory, ensuring effective communication and decision-making that balances risk and reward.
  • Support the Regional Vice President in establishing a positive cultural environment, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the organization, representing the team to senior clients and serving as an escalation point.
  • Collaborate with regional team members to streamline the Sales and Retention processes for all accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, policy, and program requirements, completing all necessary reporting punctually.
  • Champion team development in partnership with the Regional Vice President, focusing on performance evaluations and succession planning.
  • Oversee the financial performance for your territory, collaborating with the leadership team on accurate reporting and budgeting.
  • Administer policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
  • Stay informed of marketplace trends and contribute to regional strategic planning.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution, or eight years of progressive experience in multi-unit foodservice or related fields.

Preferred:

  • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles with a focus on contract management, customer service, and team development.
  • Proven success in business growth and team leadership, with strong financial acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel Requirements: This position requires extensive travel.
