Job Opportunity at Cardiac Imaging Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team as a Part-Time Specialist. As a key member of our Mobile Cardiac Imaging Program, you will be responsible for assisting our Nuclear Medicine Technologist in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality in our cardiac imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre-Procedure Preparation: Conduct thorough patient interviews, obtain medical history, and ensure patient consent and required signatures.
  2. Assessment and Monitoring: Assess patients' vital signs, establish Peripheral Intravenous (IV) access, and set up and monitor patients through 12 lead EKG stress testing.
  3. Pharmacological Stress Agents: Prepare and administer pharmacological stress agents, calculate doses, and ensure proper administration.
  4. Emergency Response: Respond to cardiac emergencies, apply ACLS algorithms, and administer resuscitation pharmacological agents as needed.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Complete daily paperwork, obtain physician signatures, and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Active Paramedic License or Credentialed by CCI (CCT) REQUIRED
  • ACLS Certification
  • One or more years of prior experience as a paramedic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Practice Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel within Alabama and Mississippi
