What is the opportunity?

As a pivotal member of Intercom, you will have the chance to significantly impact the direction of our business. Collaborating closely with senior leaders in Sales, Sales Operations, and Business Systems, you will assume a vital operational role within a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization dedicated to transforming customer interactions.

In your role as a Sales Operations Manager, your mission will be to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of our global sales and operations teams. You will tackle key operational and systems challenges throughout the lead-to-opportunity lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing the GTM Operations quarterly project roadmap, identifying process gaps, and driving improvements in sales methodologies and technologies.

We seek a proactive and independent thinker with strong business insight and exceptional communication skills. You should excel in structured environments, thrive amidst uncertainty, and be ready to engage directly with business challenges to devise innovative solutions.

What will you be doing?
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to sales and cross-functional leadership by providing data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and meet strategic objectives.
  • Oversee a diverse array of key projects, including the implementation and enhancement of sales tools, launching initiatives for process improvement, and ensuring CRM data integrity.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and develop programs aimed at driving operational improvements.
  • Work autonomously on projects, exercising sound judgment in resolving issues and making informed recommendations.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Business Systems, Marketing, and other critical teams.
  • Keep leadership informed about the status and risks associated with your projects and programs.
What skills are required?
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Project Management within a SaaS environment.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional deal and contract processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Sales Systems core processes, as well as understanding how new Go-To-Market strategies will influence these processes.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate practical judgment in complex scenarios.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy, especially in a global context.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying information effectively to senior management.
  • A willingness to thrive in a demanding, results-oriented team environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration, reporting, and data management, along with experience using sales engagement tools.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Experience in high-growth, performance-driven environments.
  • Background in Product-Led Growth companies with self-service and sales models.
  • Knowledge of software revenue recognition principles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with enrichment tools and sales prospecting tools.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience querying databases is a plus.
