Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Support and assist management and the leadership team in addressing and resolving Human Resources challenges. Aid employees with internal and external transfer inquiries and procedures. Oversee and assist managers/supervisors with recruitment processes and related issues. Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screenings, reference verifications, background investigations, motor vehicle checks, and social security number confirmations. Maintain logs for applicant flow, drug screenings, orientation, and transfer requests. Establish and manage new hire and personnel files, ensuring accurate entry into Human Resources Information Systems. Facilitate the orientation process for new employees.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards throughout the hiring and recruitment processes.

Guarantee the precise maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documentation, I-9 forms). Assist in the processing and upkeep of payroll records in accordance with established policies and procedures, as needed. Notify Human Resources management of any employee relations issues within the division or property. Develop and maintain filing systems. Generate Human Resources data reports as required. Answer phone calls and document messages. Create and type office correspondence using computer applications. Serve as a Human Resources subject matter expert and engage in project teams. Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc.


Adhere to all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience.

License or Certification:
None
