Position Summary
As a vital member of the Human Resources team, you will assist and support management and leadership in addressing and resolving HR-related matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating employee internal and external transfer requests and guiding them through procedures.
- Monitoring and assisting hiring managers with recruitment processes and related challenges.
- Coordinating applicant screenings, including drug tests, reference checks, background investigations, and verification of identity.
- Maintaining logs for applicant flow, drug screenings, orientation, and transfer requests.
- Creating and managing new hire and personnel files, ensuring they are accurately entered into HR Information Systems.
- Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards throughout the hiring and recruitment processes.
Maintain precise records of all employee documentation, including interview notes and I-9 forms. Support payroll processing and record maintenance as required.
Communicate any employee relations issues to HR management promptly. Develop and maintain organized filing systems and generate HR data reports as needed.
Answer phone calls professionally and manage office correspondence using computer software. Serve as a subject matter expert in Human Resources and contribute to project teams.
Train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies, and information systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
A minimum of 1 year in a related role.
Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification:
None required.
