St. Joseph Center has been committed to assisting low-income and homeless individuals and families since its inception. As a nonprofit organization, we focus on delivering extensive case management and social services to those in need. This position as a Case Manager offers an opportunity to positively impact the lives of community members.
Position Overview- Deliver exceptional case management services to clients transitioning from homelessness to stable housing.
- Assess individuals and families for housing eligibility and guide them through the application process.
- Conduct regular in-person case management meetings and home visits.
- Assist clients in cultivating independent living skills and connecting with community resources.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline.
- One to two years of experience working with at-risk populations.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Familiarity with housing programs and available resources.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid California driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
- Employment Status: Full-time/Exempt
- Compensation: $22 - $22.50/hour
- Background check is a prerequisite for employment.
