Client Supportive Services Liaison

Special Service for Groups, Inc- HOPICS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Supportive Services Liaison to support the organization's mission of providing essential services to homeless individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management, social services, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance to clients in accessing food, clothing, and other essential services.
- Manage the food pantry and clothing closet, including receiving and organizing donations, scheduling laundry services, and coordinating with staff to meet client needs.
- Coordinate with case management and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and distribute food boxes, verify requests, and maintain accurate records.
- Act as a volunteer lead for HOPICS-sponsored events and activities.
- Support the Employment and Client Wellness Team as needed.
- Provide training to HOPICS volunteers as needed.
- Complete and maintain all required documentation related to supportive service components.
- Minimum two years of job-related experience working with homeless individuals and families or five years of experience in social services.
- Case management and homeless program experience preferred.
- Knowledge of community resources and experience maintaining organized documentation.
- Ability to work with diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
- Verification of Employment Eligibility and Background Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe food safety certification or similar acceptable certification.
- TB test required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance required with reliable transportation.
- This position is responsible for work in a client-friendly environment and may require supporting in the pick-up and delivery of donations as needed.
- The Client Supportive Services Liaison typically spends time sitting, standing, thinking, writing, walking, driving, carrying (max. 25 lbs), listening, speaking.
- This position will require the individual to be able to handle constant distractions, interruptions, and uncontrollable changes in priorities/work schedules.
