The Sales Representative is well-versed in our vehicle offerings and services, as well as the automotive market, including options for vehicle selection, performance, accessories, safety features, and financing alternatives for both new and pre-owned vehicles.

This role involves presenting both new and used vehicles to potential customers in an engaging and informative manner, fostering a positive sales experience and nurturing ongoing relationships to encourage repeat business.


The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, prior sales experience (in any field), exceptional customer service abilities, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, a professional appearance, and strong communication skills.

Self-motivation and a proactive approach to meeting sales targets are essential for success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles and promote model features, value-added products, and financing options in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Conduct vehicle test drives while adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Facilitate the negotiation process to close sales in a clear and ethical manner.
  • Guide customers through the delivery process, providing comprehensive explanations of vehicle features, operation, warranty, and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about all vehicle models, accessories, financing options, and current promotions.
  • Participate in all required staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales performance in any industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Able to achieve sales goals with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
