POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Generalist III plays a pivotal role in supporting HR initiatives and ensuring the effective implementation of organizational strategies while promoting a positive workplace culture. This role provides essential support to the HR Department, management teams, and employees across various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and cultural development. The HR Generalist will guide managers and staff in understanding policies and executing procedures in line with all applicable regulations and company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Address inquiries from management, employees, and job candidates regarding a wide range of HR and employee relations matters on a daily basis.
  2. Deliver guidance, training, and development to operational teams on HR topics, ensuring equitable and consistent practices.
  3. Work collaboratively with HR leadership on project management to align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  4. Lead and manage HR projects to guarantee the timely achievement of all project milestones and deadlines.
  5. Facilitate and conduct investigations related to employee relations in partnership with management, including the assessment and execution of disciplinary actions as per company policy.
  6. Provide training sessions for administrative staff within the field.
  7. Assess, create, and deliver training materials for staff and management on HR and strategic subjects. Act as a facilitator at various company orientations and training events.
  8. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with employees across the organization.
  9. Ensure that policies and procedures are crafted and enforced in compliance with current laws and regulations; collaborate with the legal department as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered)

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources is required.
Travel
  • Regional travel to operational terminals is required.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
Tools & Equipment
  • Proficiency in general office equipment is expected.
