Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, which includes crafting job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding.   • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the design and management of compensation, benefits, and leave programs, including FMLA. Support payroll processes and respond to payroll inquiries while ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies. Aid in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures, and conduct audits to recommend compliance enhancements.
  • HR Information Systems: Manage and maintain HRIS and attendance systems, ensuring data integrity and security. Generate and analyze HR reports to inform decision-making and provide training on HRIS functionalities.
  • Training and Development: Support the evaluation of training needs and the creation of comprehensive training programs. Conduct training sessions on various HR and safety topics, and manage the training platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a human resources capacity, ideally as an HR Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Certification or training in FMLA/leave administration is advantageous.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Active listening skills and empathy in addressing employee concerns.
