Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, which includes crafting job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and select the best candidates while ensuring adherence to employment laws.

- Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the design and management of compensation, benefits, and leave programs, including FMLA. Support payroll processes and respond to payroll inquiries while ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies. Aid in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures, and conduct audits to recommend compliance enhancements.
- HR Information Systems: Manage and maintain HRIS and attendance systems, ensuring data integrity and security. Generate and analyze HR reports to inform decision-making and provide training on HRIS functionalities.
- Training and Development: Support the evaluation of training needs and the creation of comprehensive training programs. Conduct training sessions on various HR and safety topics, and manage the training platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in a human resources capacity, ideally as an HR Specialist or in a similar role.
- Certification or training in FMLA/leave administration is advantageous.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Active listening skills and empathy in addressing employee concerns.
