Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, which includes crafting job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and select the best candidates while ensuring adherence to employment laws.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances with fairness and consistency. Provide support and guidance on HR policies and programs. Conduct exit and stay interviews to gather feedback for improving employee retention.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the design and management of compensation and benefits programs, including leave policies. Support payroll operations and address any payroll-related inquiries while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies. Aid in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Conduct audits and recommend improvements for compliance.
  • HR Information Systems: Manage and maintain HRIS and attendance systems, ensuring data integrity and security. Generate and analyze HR reports to inform decision-making. Provide training on HRIS functionalities to staff.
  • Training and Development: Assess training needs and develop training programs for employees. Facilitate training sessions on various HR and safety topics. Maintain the training platform and support safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field is acceptable.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an HR role, ideally as an HR Specialist or similar.
  • Certification or training in FMLA/leave administration is advantageous.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Active listening skills and empathy in addressing employee concerns.
