Position Overview:
Vitis Energy, LLC is in search of a Senior Accounting Specialist to deliver a comprehensive and engaging experience within a diverse corporate structure. This position presents significant avenues for career advancement and skill enhancement.

The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in generating and analyzing monthly financial statements, executing month-end closing activities, and conducting account reconciliations across various business units.

This role also involves assisting with a wide range of accounting responsibilities, such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and other administrative functions as required.


Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Maintains precise records and reports of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
Supports audit processes by supplying necessary documentation and records to auditors.
Identifies and suggests enhancements to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Conducts general cost accounting and related tasks.
Reviews coding for all A/P and A/R entries to ensure reconciliation and month-end billing accuracy.
Takes ownership of the accounts payable process, delegating tasks as appropriate.
Engages in forensic accounting and reconciliations as required.
Provides assistance for intricate loan transactions to senior management.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is essential.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting operations, including preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical

Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting at a workstation and utilizing a computer.
Must be capable of frequently lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements:
As necessary; potential for overnight travel.
