Additionally, this role involves assisting with a wide range of accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and other administrative responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and uphold precise records and reports concerning accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
  • Assist in audit processes by supplying necessary documentation and records to auditors.
  • Propose and advocate for enhancements to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
  • Conduct general cost accounting and other related functions.
  • Review and verify the coding of all A/P and A/R entries for reconciliation and month-end billing accuracy.
  • Oversee the accounts payable process, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Engage in forensic accounting and reconciliations as required.
  • Provide analytical support for intricate loan transactions to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a workstation and utilizing a computer.
  • Ability to frequently lift or transport items weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Capability to occasionally lift or transport items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements: As necessary; potential overnight travel is less than 10%.
