Position Overview:
Vitis Energy, LLC is in search of a dedicated Staff Accountant to deliver a proactive and engaging experience within a diverse corporate structure. This position presents significant opportunities for career advancement and skill enhancement.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in generating and analyzing monthly financial statements, executing end-of-month closing activities, and conducting account reconciliations across various subsidiaries.

This position also involves assisting with a wide range of accounting responsibilities, such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and other administrative functions as required.


Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Maintains precise records and reports related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
Assists in audits by supplying necessary documentation and records to auditors.
Proposes enhancements to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Conducts general cost accounting and related tasks.
Reviews the coding of all A/P and A/R entries for accurate reconciliation and month-end invoicing.
Takes ownership of the accounts payable process, assigning AP support tasks as needed.
Performs forensic accounting and reconciliations when required.
Provides assistance for intricate loan transactions to senior management.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills/Experience:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, including preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical

Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting at a workstation and utilizing a computer.
Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Capability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements:
As necessary; potential for overnight travel.
