About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Staples, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of enterprise sales and revenue strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy to win high revenue prospects and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-Level executives at Fortune 500 companies to negotiate complex sales and business development deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior-level executives to showcase Staples' value proposition and drive sales.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and tactics.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales and business development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, sales operations, and sales analytics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level executives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
