Overview

The Key Client Relationship Manager at Terex is tasked with overseeing significant client accounts, cultivating enduring partnerships, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of clients' operational requirements. This position emphasizes driving revenue growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and optimizing the potential of strategic alliances. The Key Client Relationship Manager will act as the main liaison for clients, with a particular emphasis on Lifecycle support. They will collaborate closely and serve as the vital link between the commercial and services divisions, ensuring that their demands are met and surpassed through innovative solutions, outstanding service, and dedicated assistance.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Management:

Establish and nurture robust, long-term client relationships. Act as the principal point of contact for all client account management service issues. Assist in contract negotiations and finalize agreements to enhance market presence and associated profits. Guarantee the timely and effective delivery of solutions aligned with client expectations and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to pinpoint and expand opportunities within the North American sector.

Strategic Development:

Formulate strategic plans for key accounts, aligning with clients' business goals. Identify new business prospects within current accounts. Conduct market research and analysis to comprehend the competitive environment and client requirements. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients to assist them in achieving their objectives.

Service Excellence:

Ensure a high caliber of service delivery to clients, addressing their needs swiftly and effectively. Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve issues and enhance client satisfaction. Develop and implement client service enhancement initiatives based on feedback and best practices. Regularly engage with clients to understand their service experience and identify areas for improvement.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and evaluate account performance metrics. Prepare and present regular reports on account status, including sales metrics, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Address client inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure growth opportunities. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure client feedback is integrated into product enhancements. Partner with marketing to create tailored marketing initiatives for key accounts. Coordinate with customer support to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;

Skills:

Strong negotiation and sales capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze and resolve complex challenges. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. High level of integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or related fields, with a focus on strategic accounts, preferably with a technical orientation. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing substantial client accounts.

The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 USD. The compensation may vary based on the applicant's location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
