This includes providing support for staff across lines of business and functions as well as facilitating communication avenues across the organization. This position will oversee the company newsletters, website, social media and work in conjunction with CRH initiatives. What to Expect: $26-$28 an hour Annual increase potential Paid Time Off Medical/Dental/Vision/Prescription $1, 000 Referral Bonuses Short- & long-term disability coverage (company sponsored) 401K with Roth option & competative company match Profit sharing Paid Holidays Education Reimbursement Program Employee Assistance Program Company Paid Life Insurance Opportunities for Internal Mobility Professional Development Opportunities Company Discounts on products, good, services, electronics, automotive, travel, & more Opportunities for community engagement Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Write copy for various external and internal communications Document employees, events and locations through photos and videos, focused on safety, recruiting, branding and marketing Work with line of business leaders to obtain coverage of company projects Maintain the company and company project presence in social networks and on social media Seek opportunities to promote Dolomite both internally and externally Report on progress and contribute to strategic initiatives Coordinate and manage internal video feeds Coordinate and publish company newsletters Aid in the development of presentations for internal and external use Coordinate workshops, special events and other Dolomite gatherings Design and produce company recruiting materials Generate written communications, announcements, articles, flyers, etc. for all lines of business Support office administrative tasks Design and develop presentation and other communications tools for use by management Seek out and build relationships in the community Participate and speak at local and regional events, charities and community outreach programs to increase awareness of the organization Additional Responsibilities Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times. Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual. Strict adherence to Dolomite's policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree with course work in communications, marketing, public relations or related field. A minimum of 3 years applicable experience is required. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others Must demonstrate the ability to use a computer to communicate and analyze data. This includes but is not limited to the use of Outlook, MS Office programs, construction software and web-based programs Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines Results driven Ability to network and build relationships General Requirements Strong communication skills both written and verbal, as well as computer skills Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations Hours are extended throughout the year to occasionally include nights and weekends when necessary Regional travel may be required Regular and predictable attendance is required Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
