Position Overview:
The Community Engagement Marketing Specialist is crucial in showcasing our brand to the communities we serve through various events, sponsorships, and community outreach initiatives.

This role encompasses a range of marketing support activities, including the creation and distribution of promotional materials, as well as managing our social media presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of marketing strategies, encompassing both internal and external campaigns of varying complexities.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and overall management for events, sponsorships, trade shows, and promotional activities, while representing the company at these events.
  • Oversee the entire event lifecycle, from research and negotiation of opportunities to on-site management and post-event evaluations, including invoicing and logistics oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and field teams to provide event training and support.
  • Compile post-event reports and conduct data analysis, sharing insights with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Travel as necessary between corporate locations and to promotional events.
  • Create and distribute marketing collateral, support documents, and sales materials.
  • Manage inventory of promotional items and giveaways.
  • Support brand consistency and message development by reviewing and editing marketing materials.
  • Assist in managing the marketing calendar and tracking updates.
  • Contribute to direct mail campaigns, including database management and segmentation.
  • Provide on-site support for marketing initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with a passion for engaging with people in various settings.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and tailoring marketing campaigns accordingly.
  • Strong grasp of marketing strategies and their application across different outreach methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel within the state regularly and out-of-state as required.
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media strategies.
  • Telecommunications experience is a plus, but we welcome driven marketing professionals from various industries.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.
