- Participate in meetings and training sessions, ensuring access to necessary resources.
Decision-Making Authority: The Specialist will independently determine task assignments and engage with students, demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, and compliance with established policies.
Competency Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, ethical integrity, analytical reasoning, leadership capabilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering the growth of others.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, human services, or social work, along with relevant experience is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, familiarity with restorative practices, knowledge of child development, and a valid NYS license are required.
- Physical requirements include occasional standing, squatting, lifting up to 40 lbs, and frequent sitting.
