As a Regional Director of Sales, Here's What You'll Do:
  • Create and implement sales strategies tailored to the region to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and market opportunities within the region.
  • Guide the team in using various methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to generate leads.
  • Develop plans for outbound sales calls and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Ensure the team understands customer needs and provides suitable product recommendations.
  • Conduct and oversee virtual presentations and product demonstrations, tailoring them to address specific customer needs and pain points.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of quotes and proposals to customers.
  • Lead high-level negotiations to close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Ensure accurate processing of orders and coordination with other departments for timely delivery and fulfillment.
  • Develop strategies to follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the region.
  • Implement policies to provide exceptional customer service and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Regularly update key customers on new products, services, and promotions through the sales team.
  • Track and report on regional sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the region.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge, and ensure the sales team is equally informed.
  • Organize and participate in ongoing training and professional development programs for the sales team.
  • Manage the regional sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role, such as Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Project management skills highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region to meet with clients and manage the sales team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and CRM software highly preferred.
