Reporting to Advantix's VP of Operations, the Mail Processing Specialist will be a responsible for obtaining all mail, scanning in, and depositing of all checks.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Travel to and collect all mail from the PO Box on assigned days each week.
  • Open and sort mail into stacks using designated categories per standard operating procedures.
  • Process all checks made to Advantix by completing a deposit slip, stamping all checks, keeping track of all check stubs, and depositing all checks at the nearest Texas Bank and Trust branch.
  • Process any checks made out to customers by placing in an envelope and mailing to designated contact.
  • Scan all check stubs from the day's deposit to the appropriate online storage folder.
  • Scan all remaining mail to the appropriate online storage folder using provided standard operating procedures.
  • Shred or place all mail in a shred lock box after scanning is complete.
  • Coordinate with supervisor to address any scheduling concerns or processing exceptions.
  • Communicate status and log performance metrics each day.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car
  • Must be able to resolve practical problems. Able to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Other:
Advantix may allocate such additional duties for this position as informed by the VP of Operations from time to time as necessary to meet the business needs of Advantix.
  • This job will only be 3-6 hours per week
  • Hourly rate of $14.00 plus mileage (must live within 10 miles of place of business)
