Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a prominent client in the aerospace and defense sector. This role is pivotal in enhancing manufacturing capabilities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

The selected engineer will:

  • Design and Develop: Create and implement innovative manufacturing processes that align with customer requirements.
  • Optimize Operations: Utilize statistical methods and Design of Experiments to assess and enhance machine capabilities and process applications.
  • Lead Problem-Solving Initiatives: Address complex challenges affecting product efficiency throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Software Development: Develop application software and tooling for intricate machinery and mechanical processes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or Creo).
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, including robotics.
  • Experience in new product introduction and process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of FactoryLogix MES and INFOR ERP systems is advantageous.
Work Environment

This position requires on-site presence, promoting collaboration and engagement within the team.
