Job Overview

Insight Global is on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our esteemed financial services client.

This role will be part of the Platform Solutions Division, focusing on the management of cloud-based credit card processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Security Specialist, you will:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the credit card processing platform and the comprehensive customer solutions it supports.
  • Utilize your expertise in Cloud, Automation, and both Windows and Linux administration to enhance the security and efficiency of cutting-edge credit card processing systems.
  • Participate in on-site collaboration, with an expectation of being present in the office multiple times a week.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in an Infrastructure Security role.
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code, particularly in supporting IAM policies.
  • Extensive experience in an AWS Cloud environment.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in applications and operating systems.
  • A track record of involvement in continuous improvement and automation initiatives, including system deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Powershell and Ansible.
  • A strong aptitude for debugging and optimizing scripts for automation tasks.
Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will need to:

  • Interpret and evaluate reported security risks.
  • Discuss findings with a diverse audience, adapting your communication to varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Coordinate remediation strategies effectively.
Education

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a working knowledge of Splunk, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch being highly desirable.
