Accounts Payable Specialist Location : St. Louis, MO (Hybrid) Pay Range:

$25.00-26.25 per hour Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions for accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, and various other transactions including vendor reconciliations, month-end closing activities, establishing and maintaining vendor and branch relationships. Essential Functions: Responsibilities of the position include: The Accounts Payable Specialist manages all activities in the accounts payable function

Analyzes and processes invoices with proper approval, coding, and timing to ensure accurate financial reporting and payment

Review and process 2-way & 3-way Purchase Order invoices to audit standard

Branch credit card account reconciliation and processing to the DMS system

Maintain vendor files and AP email

Verify vendor accounts, reconcile statements, and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies

Effectively communicating with vendors and employees to establish and maintain relationships, answer questions, and resolve outstanding issues

Month-end closing activities

Provide supporting documentation for audits

Assisting with other Accounting projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a n associate’s or b achelor’s degree in accounting preferred

Minimum of three years of proven Accounts Payable experience in a

high -volume company

Competency of accounts payable principles, accounting standards and regulation

The successful candidate will display strong time management, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Experience with a DMS system preferred

Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook) is required.
