We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and timely processing of transactions.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (AR)
* *Invoice Management*: Prepare, issue, and manage invoices to customers.
* *Payment Processing*: Track and process incoming payments, ensuring they are applied correctly.
* *Collections*: Follow up on outstanding invoices and facilitate the collection process.
* *Customer Relations*: Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
* *Record Maintenance*: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receivables.

Accounts Payable (AP)
* *Invoice Verification*: Review and verify invoices from vendors.
* *Payment Processing*: Process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* *Expense Reports*: Review and process employee expense reports.
* *Vendor Relations*: Handle inquiries from vendors and resolve any discrepancies.
* *Record Maintenance*: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payables.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
* Certification in accounting or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
