role ( HQ Location is in Lombard, Illinois ) for a sales-focused Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our marketplace by reaching out to various trucking companies and owner-operators, introducing them to our Freight Ninja, conveying the benefits of our managed and operated parking locations, and ultimately ensuring that their valuable assets are safe and secure with Freight Ninja. Your primary objective will be to drive growth by expanding our network of transportation companies. The role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and promoting the benefits of parking with Freight Ninja. While this role requires all the aspects of a great salesperson, including persuasive communication and relationship-building skills, it does involve securing contracts and seeing the entire sales process through. There will be no collection of monies for sales or collection calls. What You Will Do Conduct outbound sales calls to truck, trailer and other various transportation companies, presenting Freight Ninja as a valuable solution. Develop and execute demand-generation strategies. Utilize persuasive techniques to overcome objections and effectively communicate the benefits of parking with us. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing tailored parking solutions. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics, including call volume, deal created, and conversions. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the sales team. Keep detailed records of interactions and sales activities in our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for all accounts worked. Qualifications At least 3 years of closing experience in sales or business development with a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to generate leads and close sales Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) to understand and empathize with the needs of property owners Familiarity with technology, including Office 365 suite and CRM systems like HubSpot, to effectively manage sales processes You must have the ability to adapt quickly to changes and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Customer service-oriented mindset Excellent organization and time management skills Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a plus Past experience building a book of business is a plus Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus
