A critical member of the Proposal Team, the Proposal Coordinator manages the successful day-to-day execution of all proposal activities relative to an individual proposal effort including coordinating activities of proposal team personnel; managing proposal schedules and deadlines; developing proposal outlines and templates; and monitoring proposal progress. This position full time and is primarily located on-site in Middletown, RI but hybrid or remote work will be considered for the right candidate once fully acclimated to the team. Responsibilities Include: Coordinates and facilitates all proposal efforts. Serves as the central communications point for the proposal development team, ensuring all involved are informed and working in a cohesive manner. Drafts and promulgates written guidance and status reports to team members and internal stakeholders. Ensures all proposal documentation and reference materials are posted and maintained in SharePoint. Downloads and posts relevant Q&A and other updates; monitors portal for any amendments and alerts team when they arrive. Customizes proposal templates to specific RFP requirements. Constructs writing outlines and compliance matrices. Assists Review Team Lead with Pink/Red Team Kickoff and Debrief meetings and review logistics. Leads Proposal Status meetings. Edits proposal content. Analyzes prior proposals to identify possible reuse material. Solicits post-event feedback from team members to document lessons learned and continually improve internal processes. Coordinates post-award debrief review meetings. Retains proposal artifacts for future proposals. During periods where proposal tempo is slow, provides analytical and administrative support to other members of the Business and Proposal Development Teams and Capture Managers relative to opportunity research and analysis, capture management, and proposal readiness initiatives. Education/Experience: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a relevant technical field. A lessor or different degree, combined with experience that exceeds the minimum requirements, may be considered. A minimum of five years of directly related experience, ideally supporting business and proposal development efforts for a Department of Defense contractor. Additional Desired Skills: Expertise in MS Word and MS PowerPoint Experience with SharePoint, MS Excel and MS Project Strong writing and editing skills Extreme attention to detail Ability to multitask, meet aggressive deadlines, and lead others to do same Experience designing visually-appealing and accurate graphics, charts, and diagrams for use in proposals Who are we?
