Role Summary:

The Account Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that Boxzooka fulfills its commitments to ecommerce clients, maintaining our reputation as a top-tier fulfillment provider.

Account Managers serve as the primary point of contact for our Client Care team, delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally. This role is essential in nurturing client relationships through effective communication and timely follow-ups on all matters. Reporting directly to the Director of Client Experience, this position is integral to the Account Management Team, facilitating the flow of information, data, and insights between our brands and operational teams.

The ideal candidate will promote mutual respect and effective communication, maximizing revenues while upholding the highest service standards. A key responsibility includes proactively overseeing client activities related to order processing and inventory management, including the development of forecasts and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational, financial, and service level agreement (SLA) excellence for assigned clients through clear communication and comprehensive planning.
  • Organize regular client meetings to assess performance and address future requirements.
  • Review forecasts with clients and relay action plans to the operations team to ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct business reviews and client visits to strengthen relationships.
  • Enhance profitability for both Boxzooka and clients by proposing tailored initiatives that save costs and time.
  • Utilize customer service software to manage service requests and collaborate with operational partners.
  • Coordinate special projects, managing timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Address inbound and inventory challenges through stock assessments and quality audits.
  • Assist with outbound order requests, including cancellations and address modifications.
  • Resolve issues related to missing inventory and delayed orders.
  • Facilitate transportation requests and track shipments as per client specifications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of B2B and B2C order management, creating guidelines for the operations team.
  • Mentor Account Coordinators by providing training on best practices and engaging in special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in ecommerce, distribution, or project management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with EDI and wholesale fulfillment is a plus.
  • Prior account management experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
